Pottery with Poetry

This duet with Pradnya (budding_spirit) took me an hour to write. What encouraged me the most was her ready to go attitude! And this poetry was like butter. A couplet after a couplet. Bringing it to the best end by mentioning the Japanese term. 🤗

Japanese term

Me, there

What a difference day makes?
With these little twenty-four hours,
I can’t buy you as precious as,
being beside me in my presence.
We can go for picnics and beyond,
But a day with me won’t be enough.
There is not even a reason to be,
More than a day and have all of me.
Don’t believe if they tell you I’m no good,
There will be just me if I be there.
